How We Use AI

AI helps us draft and organize text. It does not decide what is true. Calories, macros and allergens always come from Cupbop’s official documents, and we check them by hand. Some images on this site are AI-generated illustrations. We label them, and they are not photos of real Cupbop food.

Our Sources

We use sources in this order:

1. Cupbop’s official nutrition table and allergen chart. We do not republish these documents. We link to Cupbop’s website instead.
2. Cupbop’s official website, including its store finder and ordering site, and its App Store listing.
3. The Cupbop listing on DoorDash for one store, for menu prices and bundles. We show the date we checked it. Prices differ by location and app, so we treat them as a guide.
4. Published news for company background, such as CNBC, named in the text.
5. Reader reports, which we check against official sources before changing anything.

How We Check Cupbop’s Numbers

Cupbop’s own documents sometimes do not agree with each other. We check what we can:

• We add up calories from fat, carbs and protein (fat × 9 + carbs × 4 + protein × 4) and compare them with the listed calories.
• We compare each bowl’s total with the sum of its parts (base plus protein).
• We make sure every page on this site agrees with the others.

When we find a problem, we show Cupbop’s number, explain the doubt, and say which number we use and why. We do not quietly change official figures. For example, Cupbop’s table lists two calorie figures for Rock Bop, and we explain both on our Nutrition page.

Estimates and Uncertainty

If Cupbop publishes no number, we say so or mark ours as “est.” If something is our own reading of Cupbop’s data, for example how sauce numbers are blended, we say “our reading”. We do not present estimates as confirmed facts.
