Cupbop Sauces #1 to #10: What’s in Each One
Cupbop’s numbered sauces are not 10 separate recipes. According to Cupbop’s allergen chart, they are blends of five base sauces: Bulgogi, Lime Mayo, Spicy Mayo, Korean Chili and Fire in the Hole. This guide shows what is in each number, with calories, sugar, sodium and allergens from Cupbop’s official tables. For bowls and macros, see our Nutrition page.
How Cupbop’s Sauce Numbers Work
Every numbered sauce contains Bulgogi sauce. Then:
- Lime Mayo is added in #1 to #4
- Spicy Mayo is added in #2 to #9
- Korean Chili is added from #6 to #10
- Fire in the Hole is added from #8 to #10
So as the number goes up, the mix moves from mayo-based sauces toward chili ingredients. Cupbop does not publish an official heat rating or the blend ratios, so we judge “heat” only by which chili ingredients are in the mix. #7 is in Cupbop’s nutrition table but not in its blend chart, so we cannot say what is in it.

What the Numbers Show
- Chili ingredients rise with the number. Korean Chili first appears in #6, and Fire in the Hole in #8. Sauces #8, #9 and #10 each contain both, and #10 is the only one with no mayo.
- Calories peak at #5 (285), not at the high end. Fat peaks at #5 and #6 (about 21.5 g). Calories then fall sharply from #8, where Fire in the Hole joins the blend, and #10 is the lowest at 41. Cupbop does not publish the blend ratios, so we can only guess that the mayo, oil and sugar make up a smaller share of the mix as the chili ingredients take over.
- Sugar is highest at #1 (27.3 g) and falls overall as the number goes up, with a small rise at #7 and #7.5 (about 18.7 to 18.9 g, versus 18.3 g at #6). GF Bulgogi has the most sugar of any sauce at 52.3 g.
- Sodium climbs from #1 (243 mg) to #9 (689 mg), then dips slightly at #10 (625 mg). GF Bulgogi is far above all of them at 1,538 mg.
- Cupbop’s table lists bowls and sauces in separate rows, and it is not clear whether bowl totals include the sauce.

Allergens in Each Sauce
Cupbop does not publish allergens per sauce number. The blend chart plus Cupbop’s allergen chart for each base sauce lets us work out what each number is likely to contain. This is our reading, so confirm with the store.
Base sauces, from Cupbop’s chart:
- Bulgogi: soy, wheat
- GF Bulgogi: soy
- Lime Mayo: egg, mustard, soy, wheat
- Spicy Mayo: egg, mustard, soy, wheat, garlic, sesame
- Korean Chili: garlic
- Fire in the Hole: none listed
Sauces Likely allergens (our reading)
#1 Soy, wheat, egg, mustard
#2 to #9 (except #7, not in the chart) Soy, wheat, egg, mustard, garlic, sesame
#10 Soy, wheat, garlic
Every numbered sauce contains Bulgogi sauce, which lists wheat. So none of them is on Cupbop’s gluten-friendly sauce list. That list is GF Bulgogi, Korean Chili and Fire in the Hole. GF Bulgogi has soy and no wheat in Cupbop’s chart. Cupbop describes “gluten friendly” food as having a chance of cross-contamination, okay for mild sensitivities only. For the full allergen chart, see our Allergen Guide.
A note on vegetarian and vegan: Cupbop’s footnote says to ask about #1 and #5 because they are mayo-based. But its blend chart shows mayo in every numbered sauce from #1 to #9. #10 has no mayo, but Cupbop does not list it as vegan. Cupbop’s vegan sauce list is Bulgogi, GF Bulgogi, Korean Chili and Fire in the Hole.
